How to Get There

By air:

Canberra has an international and domestic airport (www.canberraairport.com.au). Qantas (www.qantas.com) operates daily services directly to and from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, while Virgin Blue (www.virginblue.com.au) operates daily to and from Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Brindabella Airlines and Tasair offer other regional routes.

Canberra International Airport is situated an easy 10-minute drive east of the city. The Airliner Shuttle bus offers an hourly express service to the city for $7 one-way or $12 return. Car hire, limousines and taxis are also available.

By train:

Countrylink (www.countrylink.info) offers three rail services daily from Sydney to Canberra. Extend your rail travel through Cootamundra to Melbourne and other points in country New South Wales and Victoria.

By Coach/Bus:
